Madison Park I am a storyteller with extensive experience in journalism and communications as well as data analysis. For years, I was an award-winning journalist writing thousands of news articles. I pivoted my career to acquire data skills to tell better informed stories. I excel at tackling complicated issues and breaking them down into clear insights, as well as understanding what resonates with the audience.

I work at Airbnb where my role is to find compelling stories in our data to craft narratives for the company such as press releases, reports, product launches, conference presentations, and executive talking points. I transform complex data into simple, actionable insights.

Prior to that, I worked in the Google News Lab team where I uncovered insights from Google's search data, provided training and resources to journalists. Since I took the lead on publishing the Google Trends newsletter, its subscribers grew by more than 4,200%.

Before Google, I established over a decade of professional journalism experience as a writer and editor, covering breaking news at CNN and Bloomberg. My beat ranged from covering Asia and the Korean peninsula from CNN's Hong Kong bureau, public health as part of CNN's Health team, and financial news while I was at Bloomberg. My work has also been published in outlets including WebMD, the Guardian, USA Today, Crain, Associated Press, Yahoo, and the Baltimore Sun.
